Got Cranky Kids?

Well, why not?

I want to introduce you, to a Detroit-based clothing line, for kids, called Cranky Kids Clothing. It was actually founded, by an old classmate of my sister’s.

Cranky Kids Clothing is a children’s clothing brand, as well as an online boutique. Everything, at Cranky Kids, is made by hand, by the designer. Their simple and original designs are clean and “free of commercial cartoon characters and corny sayings.”

The line consists of sweatshirts, t-shirts, hoodies and cardigans. They range in size 2T – 5/6.  Prices start at $25, and for hand-sewn shirts, that’s not bad!

Check out their online store and look book, for their awesome designs.

And, don’t forget to “Like” their Facebook page!

Oh, and check out her husband’s company, Burn Rubber Sneaker Boutique, located in Royal Oak, Mich.

Fashion Friday: The Fall Coat & Jacket Edition

Fall is my favorite season. And, not just because my birthday happens to be in October (hint, hint). I really just love everything about the season. It’s not too hot, not too cold. And, I get to wear sweaters, boots, jeans, etc.

With that said, welcome, to this week’s edition of Fashion Friday. This time around, I’m focusing on coats for fall. And, since I’m all about what’s affordable, all my picks, are from either Gap or Target.  I, for one, hate it when I see something I love, on line or in a magazine, and it cost way too much money.

Corduroy-trimmed utility jacket from Gap:

I think this would look great, with jeans and a sweater. It comes in a tan/brown color as well.

Classic trench coat from Gap:

Every woman should have a classic trench coat. I love this one!

Coffee Shop Twill Trench Zipper Pocket Coat from Target:

I love the buttons and zippers, on this one.

Mossimo® Black: Moto Jacket from Target:

I think this one is my favorite. It gives a leather look, without actually being leather. Plus, it would look great with some skinny jeans and heals.

Coffee Shop Nipped Waist Moto Jacket from Target:

Love this motorcycle jacket look. You can dress it up, or down.

Well, that’s it, for this week’s Fashion Friday. I hope you enjoyed it. And, maybe I inspired you to do some shopping this weekend. If so, come back, and let me know what you got.

All pictures, are from their respective websites.

Fashion Friday: The Purse Edition

I have a confession to make…I’m addicted to purses. I love them, no matter the shape, size or color. So, to kick off, what I hope to be a regular series – Fashion Friday – I give you, my five favorite purses, of the moment.

Back in the Saddle Bag, from ModCloth.com:

Multi-Colored Satchel by Frye (from Piperlime.com):

Haden Foldover by Joe’s Jeans (on Piperlime.com):

Woven Handle Hobo by Melie Bianco (on Piperlime.com):

Avari Large Convertible Tote by Nine West (at Piperlime.com):

I tried to include a variety of colors, price ranges, brands, designs, etc. What do you think? Yay, or nay? Do you have any favorites, to share?
