The weather’s getting warmer, and the clothes are getting smaller, thinner, lighter, etc. As a rule, I rarely wear dresses. I just can’t seem to find anything that’s light enough to keep me cool, but not skanky.

So, when dressbarn contacted me to do a review, of one of their new spring dresses, I jumped at the chance.  It was truly great timing, since I was getting antsy, about finding something to wear on Mother’s Day.

The dress I chose had to be both cute, and modest – since I planned on wearing it to church. If you’ve never been to the dressbarn website, let me tell you… they had a TON of fabulous dresses, for me to choose from.

In the end, this is the one I chose:

(Of course, because I took photos, specifically for this post, none of them came out, right. But, as soon as I wear it again, I’ll take more pics, and replace this canned one.)

The dress is beautiful. The lining has a petticoat feel to it, and when you spin, it flares. :)   Because it’s sleeveless, I paired it, with a white sweater. The end result was very classy and springy. And, for us curvy girls, wrap dresses are where it’s at!

dressbarn also has a YouTube page, where their “Style Squad” gives fashion tips.

    But OH MY GOD I saw the Jeweled Neckline Babydoll Dress and I am literally in love. IF i get it I think I just might wear it over and over and over again!
